The Willow (Salix) is a deciduous shrub or tree that bears soft silvery catkins along its stems before the emergence of new leaves in the spring.
Willow plants are happy on wet soils and are often used amongst waterside plantings.
The leaves of the Willow are light green and oblong in shape. Willows are dioecious, with male and female flowers appearing as catkins on different plants; the catkins are produced early in the spring, often before the leaves, or as the new leaves open.
Our stocks of Willow plants are continually changing so please contact us for sizes and plants not listed here.
